Arlington National Cemetery Millennium Columbarium Efflorescence Repairs

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District (NAO) is seeking eligible firms for a construction contract to clean and prevent biofilm and efflorescence at the Millennium Columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC), Virginia. The project involves removing existing buildup on concrete surfaces and implementing prevention methods, such as cap and strip flashing, to minimize future occurrences. Minor concrete repairs are also anticipated. The work will be conducted at concrete structures in Sections 79 and 85, specifically Courts 10, 11, 12, and 13. The estimated project value ranges from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Contractors must ensure activities do not disrupt cemetery operations. The Sources Sought document requests information on project execution capabilities, including proposed cleaning and prevention methods, equipment, materials, active contracts of similar magnitude, experience with concrete cleaning and flashing installation, company details (CAGE code, UEI, local presence), interest in proposing, proposed contractor structure (sole, prime with subcontractors, joint venture), major subcontractors, bonding capacity, and business size/small business designations. The primary goal is to identify a qualified contractor offering a long-term cost-efficient prevention solution.
