NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE – BEP PARTS MAP1483 - Knife, Upper blade, Carbide, used on “X” cutting unit & MAP1482 - Knife, Upper blade, Carbide, used on “W” cutting unit

The Department of the Treasury's Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to award a sole-source contract for the procurement of specific replacement upper blade carbide knives. The contractor must supply upper blade carbide knives under part numbers MAP1483 and MAP1482, which are utilized on "X" and "W" cutting units respectively. This equipment is necessary to support the agency's specialized currency production operations in Washington, District of Columbia.
