Flat Panel Up Front Controller (FPUFC) - Request for Information

The government is conducting market research to identify sources capable of repairing the F-15E Flat Panel Up Front Controller (FPUFC), identified by NSN 5895-01-530-1899FX and PN A05A0249-12. Currently, L-3 Aviation Products, the OEM of the FPUFC, is the sole contractor providing repair services. Technical data necessary for alternative repair methods is not owned by the government and is deemed too costly to obtain or reverse engineer. Contractors interested in participating must demonstrate their capabilities through a Contractor Capability Survey, addressing past experience, repair capabilities, and resources. Both large and small businesses, including joint ventures, are encouraged to respond. The solicitation seeks information for planning and budget forecasting and does not intend to award contracts based on this request. Responses must be submitted by April 21, 2025, and should include comprehensive documentation of the contractor’s capabilities to undertake the FPUFC repair.
