Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 6, is seeking proposals to renovate and remodel the Regional Watch Center at the Federal Regional Center in Denton, Texas. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, and materials required for a two-phase design-build project, which includes structural modifications, specialized acoustic insulation for secret-level accreditation, spatial reconfigurations, and electrical, HVAC, and security upgrades. Work must be performed at an active, occupied federal facility by U.S. citizens who have passed federal background investigations, and the contractor must have performance capabilities within a 150-mile radius of the Denton facility. The period of performance begins September 28, 2026, for up to 250 federal workdays under a Women-Owned Small Business set-aside, and proposals must be submitted in four distinct volumes to primary contact Neddra Tucker at neddra.tucker@fema.dhs.gov.
