The Department of Defense, through the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Philadelphia, is issuing a presolicitation for control circuits for ship and boat propulsion engines under NSN 2010-01-668-4172. The procurement requires the delivery of 62 units of reference number 5146T07P02 with shipping FOB Origin. Because this part requires engineering source approval to maintain quality, acquisitions are restricted to approved sources that retain the necessary unique design capabilities, technical data, and manufacturing knowledge. Alternate sources must successfully qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity.
