The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contracting Office 23, is planning a firm fixed-price construction contract for the Grand Island VA Medical Center to replace CLC flooring as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. The work includes removing existing carpeting and rubber cove base and replacing them with Luxury Vinyl Plank and new rubber cove base on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Building 1. The project is estimated at between $500,000 and $1,000,000, with a 150-calendar-day period of performance from notice to proceed, and all work must be planned so it does not disrupt daily medical center operations.
