Relentless Wolfpack RFI

The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/RWK) at Eglin AFB, FL, issued a Request for Information (RFI) for its Capstone Demonstration. This RFI seeks market research for demonstrating multiple interoperable and intelligent affordable mass networked collaborative autonomous (NCA) weapon salvos. The objective is to achieve multi-vendor, multi-platform interoperability for large-scale, affordable mass cruise missile operations, with each missile capable of traveling a minimum of 350 nautical miles, equipped with a datalink, and costing less than $250K. The demonstration will involve multiple vendors collaborating on flight events, including surrogate and affordable mass flights, within 16 months of contract award. Key requirements include technically mature (TRL 6 or higher) Weapons Open Systems Architecture (WOSA) v3.7+ compliant cruise missile solutions, associated launch equipment, surrogate vehicles, network communications equipment, navigation algorithms, and various digital emulations and simulations for the AFRL M-Series Weapons Innovation Pipeline. Respondents must provide detailed technical capabilities, cost estimates, roadmaps, business size, teaming arrangements, and preferred contract types by April 15, 2026.
