This Sources Sought Notice is issued by the U.S. Air Force to conduct market research and identify potential sources capable of providing Dorm High Speed Internet for Travis Air Force Base, California. This is not a solicitation for proposals, and the government will not incur any costs associated with preparing responses. This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines requirements for a contractor to install, operate, and maintain a high-speed fiber-optic internet network for 17 campus dormitory buildings (1,212 rooms total) at Travis Air Force Base, California. The contractor must provide all necessary commercial-grade networking equipment, labor, and ongoing 24/7 technical support. Key technical requirements include delivering minimum speeds of 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload per room, establishing a fiber-optic backbone, and installing cable pathways in newly renovated Buildings 1331 and 1332. The contractor must also supply a central monitoring page for real-time network metrics and submit monthly performance reports. The annual contract begins November 1, with a mandatory "Go-Live" date of November 1, 2026. A minimum one-year equipment warranty is required. In the event of service disruptions, the contractor must resolve issues within 24 hours during normal duty hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM PT), or on the next business day for weekend/after-hours disruptions. Standard installation and maintenance must occur during business hours (Monday through Friday, 0800-1700). Because a high percentage of rooms will be occupied during installation, contractors must be escorted by campus staff in resident-occupied areas.
