The Department of the Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanical office is soliciting a total small business set-aside for a stem disc assembly used in a critical shipboard system. The requirement is for a complete 1/4-inch globe valve stem and disc assembly built to NAVSEA drawing 803-6397434, including specified parts and associated material, testing, and certification deliverables. The work carries Level I/SUBSAFE special emphasis controls, requires an ISO-9001-based quality system or approved alternate, and places strong emphasis on traceability, chemical and mechanical certification, ultrasonic inspection, no weld repair on the specified material, and mercury-free hardware. Certification data must be submitted through WAWF for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard review and acceptance before each shipment, with ship-to N50286 and inspect/accept by N39040, and no material may ship until acceptance is received.
