USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) WATER CONTROL VALVE A/C PLANT CONDENSER; REPLACE

This federal Request for Quotation (RFQ) (Solicitation No. N6264926Q0447), issued by the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, seeks firm-fixed-price quotes to replace water control valves and test/repair the refrigeration system on the USS Rushmore (LSD-47). The scope of work is divided into three main line items: replacing the water control valve for the No. 4 air conditioning plant condenser, replacing the water control valve for the No. 3 air conditioning plant condenser, and testing and repairing the No. 3 air conditioning plant refrigeration system. All work must be performed aboard the vessel at the Sasebo Naval Base in Japan, with a performance period spanning from October 12, 2026, to July 31, 2027. To be eligible for award, offerors must possess an active Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in the Japan Region and must be authorized to operate in Japan under DFARS 252.225-7042. Because eligibility is restricted to pre-qualified MSRA/ABR holders, technical acceptability will not be evaluated. Instead, the contract will be awarded on a lowest-price, single-award basis, meaning the successful offeror must quote on all three items. Quotes are due to the issuing office on or before August 4, 2026. Award of this requirement is contingent upon the availability of fiscal year 2026 appropriated funds.
