Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of State’s U.S. Mission Italy is seeking a contractor to provide local guard services that support mission security in Italy. The work requires the contractor to supply the organizational structure, management, and qualified staff needed to protect U.S. personnel, dependents, property, and assets, prevent unauthorized access, and deter potential terrorist attacks. The requirement is structured as a single-award IDIQ with a base year and four one-year option periods, covers Rome, Florence, Milan, and Naples, and will be evaluated using a best value cost/technical tradeoff. Interested offerors must complete a restricted access request to obtain solicitation documents, maintain active SAM.gov registration, and submit completed access forms by email to Kerryn Finik and Paige Goeke; proposals are due June 4, 2026.
