The Department of Justice, through the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, is seeking proposals for a hands-on training course focused on staged crime scene investigations, particularly in the context of intimate partner violence. This training is designed for a multidisciplinary audience, including prosecutors, forensic medical professionals, and investigative professionals, and will emphasize the importance of specialized skills in identifying and investigating staged crime scenes, especially in tribal communities. The course will consist of approximately 24 instruction hours over 3.5 days, scheduled from June 8 to June 14, 2025, and will encourage interactive case team work using actual scenarios. Proposals must be submitted electronically by April 15, 2025, following the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria, and interested parties can contact Bryant Gilbertson at bryant.gilbertson@usdoj.gov for further information.
