Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, on behalf of the Department of the Navy, is seeking sources for accredited calibration and evaluation services for accelerometers that support the Navy Calibration Standards Program and fleet operations. The work covers calibration of the 353B04 primary accelerometer and Q353B51 low-frequency transfer standard, with delivery of calibration certificates and data packages for each unit calibrated. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials, meet A2LA or equivalent accreditation standards, use the required laser interferometry approach within the specified frequency ranges, and report any out-of-tolerance conditions; the accelerometers will be furnished by the Government and performance is to be completed within 60 days of contract award in Norco, California.
