6505--Frozen Intravenous (IV) Antibiotics
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contract Office 22 for the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System Pharmacy Service, is seeking information from potential sources for frozen intravenous antibiotics under a firm-fixed-price IDIQ arrangement. The planned scope covers annual supply of multiple frozen premixed IV antibiotic products, including cefazolin, cefepime, oxacillin, and ceftriaxone, for direct patient care. The requirement calls for FDA-approved products that meet VA National Formulary standards, comply with DSCSA and other VA procurement requirements, and be delivered with the required shelf life, tracking, and documentation to the Loma Linda VA Medical Center in California. The contemplated period of performance is a base year with four option years from August 20, 2026 through August 19, 2031, and estimated annual quantities are provided for market research only. Responses to the RFI are due by email to Hestia.Sim@va.gov no later than June 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM Pacific Local Time.
