The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is seeking a contractor to provide parts kits and refurbishment services for ball valves used in crucial shipboard systems. The contractor must perform teardown, inspection, evaluation, and refurbishment of the assemblies, which includes manufacturing seats and reworking or replacing balls to meet Level I and SUBSAFE quality standards. This Special Emphasis procurement requires strict material traceability, chemical and mechanical certification, and a quality system compliant with ISO-9001 or MIL-I-45208.
