Fuel Nozzle (Annual Service)

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, intends to issue a sole-source contract to support Assault Craft Unit Four. The selected contractor will perform recurring annual services, including cleaning, operational testing, and minor repairs, for twenty-two fuel nozzles. These fuel nozzles are proprietary components of the auxiliary power unit fuel manifolds on Landing Craft, Air Cushion vessels. The services will be performed in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and the government intends to award the contract exclusively to Sherwood Aviation of Opa-locka, Florida, as they are the only manufacturer authorized to service these proprietary manifolds.
