58--V/UHF AIU EXTENDED, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, is seeking to procure the repair and modification of V/UHF AIU Extended components under NSN 7R-5895-01-630-0207-P8. The core requirement entails the repair of thirteen units with delivery terms designated as FOB Origin. Because this flight-critical item requires specialized technical data and unique design capabilities, the Navy intends to negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Unapproved alternate sources wishing to qualify must submit a source approval request containing all technical data detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure.
