Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, supporting the FAA Facilities Real Property Disposition program, is seeking a small-business contractor for demolition, remediation, disposal, and site restoration at the CZQ VOR facility in Clovis, California. The work covers removal of environmental hazards and unused FAA structures and infrastructure, including the equipment building, roof structure, foundations, poles, bollards, fencing, and a propane tank and related piping, followed by restoration of disturbed areas and backfilling to grade. The contractor must prepare draft and final work plans and follow federal, state, and local requirements, with safety, permitting, and disposal compliance called out in the scope; proposals are to be evaluated on price, schedule, a technical narrative, and past performance. Questions are due June 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM Eastern Time, and proposals must be emailed to roland.regan@dot.gov by June 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
