29--ACTUATOR,ELECTROMEC, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, intends to procure the repair and modification of electromechanical actuators. The core scope of work involves servicing two units of National Stock Number 7R-2910-016969261-LC under Technical Data Package Version 001, with delivery designated as FOB Origin. Because this item is flight-critical and the Government lacks the necessary technical data to support full and open competition, the procurement requires prior engineering source approval from the design control activity. Although the Navy intends to negotiate with only one pre-approved source under FAR 6.302-1, all responsible sources may submit capability statements or proposals within 45 days of this notice's publication, or within 30 days if the award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement.
