Range Trap Maintenance & Repair Services
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense, on behalf of the Naval Special Warfare Command, has a requirement for the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of its Indoor Dynamic Shooting Range at Imperial Beach, California. The required scope of work involves servicing the range's patented Air Barrier System, Dust Collection Unit, and bullet traps, which includes verifying damper positions, air velocities, volumes, and filter conditions. This maintenance is critical for safety and operational efficiency, and the contractor must support these specialized systems designed and installed by the original manufacturer. The Government intends to fulfill this requirement through a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with an overall maximum value of $249,000. Under the sole source acquisition procedures of FAR 12.201-1, the contract is slated for award to Savage Range Systems, Inc., and inquiries may be directed to USSOCOMNSW01.04@socom.mil.
