The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole-source firm-fixed-price contract for law enforcement services at the THC Lakes Project. The work includes patrols and enforcement of Pennsylvania state and local laws within the project area. The requirement is being justified on the basis that the Tioga County Sheriff’s Department has the jurisdiction, authority, training, and local manpower needed to provide public safety coverage during peak visitation periods, and the place of performance is Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but the government will consider capability statements, proposals, or quotations received within 10 days after publication to determine whether a competitive procurement should be conducted.
