The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, is seeking a contractor to remove and install the refrigerant suction pipe for the No. 4 Air Conditioning Plant aboard the USS San Diego (LPD-22). The selected contractor will remove the leaking eight-inch pipe from Auxiliary Machinery Room No. 2, deliver it to the Ship Repair Facility Production Shop for repair, and subsequently reinstall the pipe using new gaskets and cleaned fasteners. To qualify, offerors must hold an active U.S. Navy Master Ship Repair Agreement or Agreement for Boat Repair in the Japan Region and be authorized to operate and do business in Japan. The work will be performed at Sasebo Naval Base, Japan, with a scheduled period of performance from November 23, 2026, to January 31, 2027.
