OFFLOAD OF HYPERBARIC RECOMPRSSION CHAMBER AND ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Coast Guard, through LOG-94 Regional Contracting West, is seeking a contractor to remove and offload the hyperbaric recompression chamber and ancillary equipment from the USCGC Polar Star at Coast Guard Base Seattle for transport. The work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation needed to safely load the chamber and related equipment onto a commercial shipping truck. The revised statement of work clarifies that the requirement is a new one, not an incumbent contract, and adds technical details including a maximum reach of 150 feet, an 86-foot ship beam, and the need for a lift director; award will be based on the lowest-price, technically acceptable offer. Offers are due April 10, 2026, with questions due in writing by April 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time, and submissions are to be sent to Terry Craft at terry.e.craft@uscg.mil.
