The U.S. Geological Survey, through its Geology, Energy & Minerals Science Center, is seeking a Thermal Gravimetric Analyzer system and related laboratory equipment and services for analytical use. The requirement covers a stand-alone or integrated TGA system with a multi-gas controller, robotic autosampler, peripheral gas analysis compatibility, cooling system, software, crucibles, initial training, shipping, installation, calibration, and an annual service plan. Technical requirements include the ability to analyze common geologic samples, a furnace reaching at least 1100°C with precise control and rapid heating and cooling, 115V or 230V power, network connectivity, and automated data backups, with award based on technical acceptability and price. This is a total small business set-aside, quotes are due May 22, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. EDT, delivery is to Reston, Virginia within 56 days after receipt of order, and vendors must be registered in SAM to receive award.
