Wavelength Meter

The National Institute of Standards and Technology, within the Department of Commerce, is conducting a sources sought notice for commercial wavelength meter solutions to support its Standard Photonic Thermometer project. The requirement is for one high-resolution wavemeter and one low-resolution wavemeter, along with a 4-channel optical switch and 4-channel PID controller for the high-resolution system, plus the software needed to operate both systems. The instruments must cover the specified near-infrared ranges, meet tight accuracy, stability, resolution, and measurement-rate thresholds, and be controllable on Windows 11 through USB and Ethernet, with both units from the same manufacturer for software compatibility; performance will support work in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Responses should be emailed to the primary point of contact as soon as possible and preferably before the closing date and time, and NIST notes that this is market research only with no solicitation available at this time.
