USCG Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Antenna Matching Unit

This Special Notice announces the U.S. Coast Guard’s (USCG) intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Antenna Products Corporation. The procurement is for two brand-specific Antenna Matching Units (Manufacturer Part #: 1000-1128-401, NSN: 5895-01-261-5521) and associated shipping to the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) in Baltimore, Maryland. Conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the USCG has determined that Antenna Products Corporation is the only source capable of satisfying this requirement. The specified brand-name units are the only ones compatible with the existing infrastructure supporting Coast Guard Remote Communications Facilities. Although this is a notice of intent for a sole-source action and not a request for competitive quotes, the government will consider submissions from any responsible sources that present their capabilities and qualifications. Responses must be submitted in writing to Contract Specialist Avery Cole and Contracting Officer Brian Eichelberger by 1:00 PM ET on July 27, 2026. The anticipated award date is August 7, 2026, with delivery required within 180 days after receipt of the order.
