USCGC Hamilton SSDG Bearing Renewal
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Homeland Security, specifically the U.S. Coast Guard, is seeking qualified vendors for the renewal of the Drive End and Non Drive End bearings for the NR1 SSDG on the USCGC Hamilton. The objective of this procurement is to ensure the proper functionality and operational readiness of the vessel, in accordance with CG Maintenance Procedure card M-C-15671. Vendors are required to provide one RotAlign Touch Open NORTH AMERICA Expert Kit (Item No. 6042231) for accurate bearing measurements and data collection, which will be utilized by MAT CHS for all CHS WMSLs. The delivery of the requested part is scheduled for on or around January 5, 2026, to LTJG Claire Portigue at USCG Base Charleston.
