Navy and FMS 5-Year Long Term Contract (LTC), Various NIINs

The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) is anticipating the award of a follow-on five-year Long Term Contract (LTC) for the repair of Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) components for the APX-111 System. The scope of work covers 11 distinct items, including radar set subassemblies, tuning units, target command controls, circuit card assemblies, power supplies, and receiver-transmitters, with total quantities per item ranging from 44 to 317 units. Because these items are flight-critical and the government lacks adequate technical data for full and open competition, the sole qualified source currently approved for these repairs is BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. (Cage Code 80249). Under 10 USC 3204(A)(1), government source approval is required prior to contract award. Unapproved sources wishing to compete must submit a comprehensive proposal along with the technical data required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure. If a source approval evaluation is already in progress, the offeror must submit a copy of the original forwarding cover letter with their proposal. Due to the urgent nature of fleet support needs, the government will not delay contract award if a new source cannot be evaluated and approved in a timely manner.
