Pre-solicitation Notice of Intent to Sole Source Avidity Science BFS-675 Bottle Filling Station

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office East, intends to award a sole-source contract to replace an aging water bottle filling station for Research Services at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. The selected contractor must supply and install an Avidity Science Edstrom Model BFS-675 Bottle Filling Station and remove the existing twenty-year-old unit. To avoid new construction or abatement, the replacement system must utilize the facility's existing space, power hookups, drain, and water inlet valve. Capable sources who are original equipment manufacturers or authorized distributors of an equivalent system meeting these exact specifications may submit capability statements to Robert Dobson at Robert.Dobson1@va.gov. Submissions must be received by September 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM MT to be considered by the government.
