OA-1K Travel/Mobility Pods
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense, on behalf of the 137th Special Operations Wing and the 17th Special Operations Squadron, is seeking proposals to procure travel and mobility pods for the OA-1K aircraft. Contractors must deliver three external carriage mobility pods to carry personal items and mission equipment due to limited internal aircraft storage. The pods must meet strict technical specifications, including compatibility with BRU-71/A ejector release units, a maximum length of 130 inches, a minimum volume of 9.0 cubic feet, and the submission of a comprehensive Technical Data Package to support airworthiness certification. Proposals will be evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable criteria, and deliverables must be shipped FOB Destination to Will Rogers Air National Guard Base in Oklahoma within 60 days of award.
