The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is seeking qualified contractors to provide Passive Flux Meters (PFMs) and lab analysis services as part of a project aimed at assessing contaminant flux and groundwater flow at the Yakima Training Center in Washington. The procurement involves the delivery of 72 PFMs in various sizes and the analysis of 182 samples, focusing on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), which are critical for ensuring potable water safety and effective aquifer management. This initiative is essential for supporting subsurface remediation efforts and protecting public health in the region. Interested vendors must submit their quotes by June 10, 2025, and are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award, with the anticipated award date set for July 1, 2025.
