DEVCOM CBC Commercial Aptamer

The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified sources capable of synthesizing and supplying custom biological reagents, specifically aptamers. This market research effort is intended to assist the Contracting Officer in acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy. The Department of War requires a stable, rapid, and scalable supply chain of custom aptamers (DNA, RNA, and peptide) to support unclassified research, diagnostic assay development, and mission-support platforms. Performance will be 100% off-site at the contractor's facility, with deliveries made to Gunpowder, Maryland. Interested respondents must demonstrate capabilities in all of the following areas to be considered: - Synthesizing and delivering unique aptamer sequences in quantities from 10 nmol to 1,000 nmol. - Performing internal quality control, sequence verification, and purity analysis (such as HPLC or Mass Spectrometry), including providing a sample Certificate of Analysis. - Packaging and shipping lyophilized products to maintain stability at ambient temperatures during transit. Responses must include a company profile, technical approach, relevant experience from the past five years, quality management certifications (e.g., ISO 9001:2015), prime contractor intent, and small business subcontracting estimations if applicable.
