    Description

    Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE NAVY is seeking RAST OBSOLESCENCE ENGINEERING SUPPORT. This service is needed to proactively review the RAST system and components, identify risk items, and propose new components in advance of obsolescence issues. The support will include analyzing projects, tracking lead-times and pricing increases, reviewing industry obsolescence plans, identifying alternate vendors, updating spares lists, contributing to DMSMS reviews, and coordinating with Manufacturing Engineering. The solutions must be forward fit and back fit. This is not a request for competitive proposals, but responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to determine whether a competitive procurement will be conducted. Responses must be received within five days.
