Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contracting Office 17, is soliciting a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside for ground maintenance services at the El Paso VA Healthcare System. The work covers comprehensive grounds maintenance to keep the facility grounds in accordance with the performance work statement, including lawn care, sweeping, leaf and debris removal, weed control, chemical treatments, tree care, irrigation system maintenance, and pest and disease control. The contract is structured as a base year with four one-year option periods, and the place of performance is El Paso, Texas; clarifications also limit reservoir area cleaning to leaf and debris removal plus weed control, and tree removal to hauling off trees that have already been cut.
