16--VALVE ASSEMBLY,ENVI, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, is seeking the repair and modification of environmental control valve assemblies. The requirement is for a quantity of three commercial, non-developmental, off-the-shelf valve assemblies under National Stock Number 7R-1660-016686584-P8. Because this item is flight-critical and the existing technical data is insufficient for full and open competition, the government requires source approval prior to contract award. Unapproved sources must submit a comprehensive source approval request brochure alongside their proposal, though the government may proceed with an award to an already-approved source to meet urgent fleet support needs.
