Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense, through the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), intends to negotiate a sole source contract modification with Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) for conducting various Trade Studies related to potential design changes in support of the Triton MQ-4C. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the MQ-4C unmanned aerial system, which is critical for maritime surveillance and reconnaissance missions. The anticipated contract, which will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Level of Effort (LOE) modification, is expected to be awarded in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026, with a performance period of approximately 36 months.
