The Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service is seeking quotes for phage library screening services to assist in developing more effective vaccines against foreign animal diseases. The contractor will perform quality control on up to three USDA-provided mammalian-expressed, His-tagged proteins, purchase two distinct phage display libraries per protein, immobilize the target proteins, and perform negative and positive selections. The scope of work also requires ELISA affinity testing, sequencing, and the delivery of 6 to 12 candidate peptide sequences alongside a minimum of 50,000 Next-Generation Sequencing reads. This procurement is a total small business set-aside to support the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility in Manhattan, Kansas, and the award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. Quotations must be submitted to Contracting Officer Erin Riffey by July 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM CT.
