OMNICELL MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT-INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, has issued a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for a firm-fixed-price, one-year contract. Under the authority of FAR 8.405.6, the government intends to award this contract to Omnicell INC for preventative maintenance and support of existing Omnicell equipment. The services will support equipment located at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia, for Fiscal Year 2027. The scope of work includes 22 specific service line items covering maintenance for various Omnicell hardware and software components, such as XT cells, scanners, bio-ID readers, packagers, carousels, and system servers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance), which has a small business size standard of $34,000,000.
