The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Army, has issued a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation notice for the procurement of Lost Creek Battery Chargers and Monitoring System. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside and falls under the category of All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing. The procurement is for 2 new battery chargers and a battery monitoring system to be used at the Lost Creek Powerhouse in Trail, Oregon. The battery chargers must meet specific specifications outlined in the statement of work, including being 100 ampere, 125 volt DC static battery chargers with 480 volt AC input. The battery monitoring system must comply with Part 4 of IEEE 1491 and meet the specifications provided. The items will be delivered to the Lost Creek project in Trail, Oregon, in support of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District Operations Division. The delivery schedule is set at 60 days from the date of award. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
