Agilent ICP-MS Instrument Service Contract
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Naval Medical Research Command, on behalf of the Navy, is seeking a sole-source service contract for Agilent ICP-MS equipment used by Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton. The work covers the Agilent 7900 ICP-MS system, SPS 4 autosampler, MS40 with AV Platinum and new oil-drain, and PSC 6106T chiller, along with required software updates, parts, labor, overtime, travel, and at least one preventative maintenance visit each year. The equipment is described as proprietary and complex, and the service must be performed by the OEM to avoid warranty issues and to support the needed updates; performance is planned for Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. The intended award is a 12-month firm-fixed-price contract with four option years, and vendors must be registered in SAM and have a UEI to be eligible for award.
