The Department of Veterans Affairs Enterprise Procurement Office has issued a sources sought notice to identify qualified sources capable of supplying FDA 510(k)-cleared, brand-name Surfacide Helios+ Environmental Disinfection Systems UV-C Light for the Veterans Health Administration’s Non-Expendable Equipment National Program. The required scope involves providing single, dual, and triple emitter configurations, annual equipment protection plans, safety motion sensors, control tablets, and LTE connectivity. To qualify, these systems must utilize automated, multi-emitter continuous 254 nm UV-C light, laser-based room mapping, and real-time dose verification to eliminate pathogens, with room cycles under 20 minutes and integrated safety controls. The agency contemplates awarding a single, nationwide, firm-fixed-price requirements contract.
