Gulfstream G280 Initial and Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) requirement for initial and recurrent pilot qualification flight training on the Gulfstream G280. The training is designed for FAA Flight Standards Operations Inspectors and Aircraft Certification Pilots to ensure they remain qualified, proficient, and current to perform evaluation, testing, and checking duties. The contractor must provide FAA-approved ground school and flight simulation training device (FSTD) or aircraft training. Initial qualification training must prepare pilots to pass the practical test to Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) standards for an unrestricted type rating. All technical training must comply with federal quality assurance and congressional funding requirements.
