The Department of the Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg is soliciting a total small business set-aside for refurbishment of a ball valve parts kit. The work requires inspection, teardown, evaluation, repair, and refurbishment of the item to like-new or A condition, including replacement of nonusable parts, traceability maintenance, and preparation of required certifications and test documentation. This is Level I/SOC special emphasis material for a critical shipboard system, with requirements tied to specific NAVSEA drawings and material specifications, nonmetallic toxicity and flammability compliance, and quality, welding, and inspection controls.
