48--VALVE,BUTTERFLY, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mech, intends to procure the repair and modification of butterfly valves under National Stock Number 7H-4820-012448339. The selected contractor will be required to repair and modify 75 units of the valves in accordance with Technical Data Package Version 005. This sole-source acquisition under FAR 6.302-1 is planned because the Government does not own the necessary technical data, and reverse engineering the part has been determined uneconomical. All deliverables must be provided FOB Origin, and interested parties must submit capability statements or proposals within 45 days of the notice publication to the primary contact, Joshua Eshleman, at joshua.j.eshleman.civ@us.navy.mil.
