Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service requires genomic services to support genetic investigations of complex plant traits for the Plant Science Research Unit in Raleigh, North Carolina. The contractor must perform quality control validation on 22 USDA-constructed library pools, execute paired-end high-flow-cell sequencing on two Element Bioscience AVITI or equivalent platforms, and conduct single-end high-flow-cell sequencing on 10 AVITI platforms. Deliverables must achieve an average base-read quality score of Q40 or higher, with all data transmitted via secure FTP within 21 calendar days of sample receipt. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract with a performance period not to exceed 365 days, evaluated on a lowest-price technically acceptable basis.
