Cable TV Services

The Beckley VA Medical Center requires cable television services for approximately 150 patient-use televisions across its facilities. The services must include limited basic and expanded basic cable, with the capability to add more TV drops in the future. The Beckley VAMC's existing infrastructure includes a COMS 300 head-end and amplifiers, but it lacks fiber optic cable and cannot accommodate satellite receivers on buildings. Internal cable repairs will be handled by BioMed Beckley VAMC employees, while the contractor is responsible for external repairs and any upgrades at no cost to the VA. Only the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or Chief of Facilities can authorize service calls. A detailed list of required channels is provided. All contract pricing must include applicable taxes and duties.
