Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is planning a firm-fixed-price/cost-plus-fixed-fee architect-engineer task order for remedial design support for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency at the Silver Butte Adit/Waste Rock Dump area of the Formosa Mine Superfund Site in Douglas County, Oregon. The work centers on monitoring well data logging and continuous water level measurement using Geokon pressure transducers with LoRa and cellular data loggers, along with compatible system components that can integrate with the existing GeoNet platform and transmit real-time data. The selected solution must support interoperability with the current GeoNet wireless data hosting system and comply with the stated Buy American provisions, and respondents are asked to provide technical literature, pricing, and place of manufacture for each item. This is a notice of intent rather than a competitive solicitation, and responses must be received by COB 17 April 2026 Pacific time to be considered.
