For EUD Phones, requirements include a modern multi-core processor (such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series), at least 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage to accommodate large offline map packages, and a high-brightness (1,750 nits) display for sunlight readability. Phones must feature a minimum 3,900 mAh battery and run Android 13 or newer. For EUD Tablets, the baseline specifications mandate a Samsung Exynos 1380 processor (or equivalent), 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, an 8.0-inch glove-sensitive display, and Android 14 or newer. Crucially, tablets require a removable battery of at least 5,050 mAh to maintain command-and-control continuity and eliminate the logistical and safety hazards of external charging cables. Additionally, both phones and tablets must be carrier-unlocked to operate across any global tactical cellular network. They must also support specialized tactical features, including Night Vision Mode to prevent visual detection and Stealth Mode to eliminate radio frequency (RF) electronic signatures.
