The Department of the Air Force, through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at AFMETCAL in Heath, Ohio, is soliciting proposals for Dual Axis Digital Autocollimators. The contractor will supply new, commercial off-the-shelf dual axis digital autocollimators used to calibrate fixtures, polygons, heads-up displays, and guidance systems. Deliverables include physical evaluation units, technical manuals, and up to 38 production units to be direct-shipped to various Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories. This procurement is structured as a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a one-year option period extending through September 30, 2032, and awards will be evaluated using a best-value tradeoff where technical factors are significantly more important than price. Proposals and physical evaluation units must be submitted by September 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT, with electronic files uploaded via DoD SAFE and physical units sent directly to Heath, Ohio, for testing.
