Contract Opportunity Analysis

NASA Kennedy Space Center is seeking a sole-source modification to the Commercial Crew Transportation Services contract to add six additional Post Certification Missions and concurrently order up to three of those missions. The work is for commercial crew transportation to the International Space Station under contract NNK14MA74C, with SpaceX identified as the only NASA-certified Crew Transportation System provider. The acquisition is tied to maintaining uninterrupted human spaceflight capability and continues NASA’s Commercial Crew structure, with the Government stating it does not intend to acquire a commercial product or commercial service under FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit capabilities and qualifications by email to Ricardo Santos-Concepcion and Steve Parker no later than 5:00 PM ET on June 2, 2026, and the responses will be used only to determine whether the action should be competed.
